About Us

The NSW Institute of Trauma and Injury Management (ITIM) was set up in late January 2002 as a result of recommendations of the Greater Metropolitan Services Implementation Group (GMSIG).

NSW ITIM is the body responsible for overseeing, coordinating and supporting the NSW Trauma System. NSW ITIM reports to the NSW Health ITIM Executive Committee, Director General of Health and the Minister for Health and is responsible to the Chief Health Officer.
