Brain Trauma Foundation Guidelines (USA)
The Brain Trauma Foundation (BTF), based in New York, was founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization to improve outcomes for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) patients. One of the major programs of the BTF is the development of three scientific evidence based treatment guidelines.
The three guidelines which are able to be viewed on the BTF website include:
- Guidelines for Prehospital Management of Traumatic Brain Injury
- Management and Prognosis of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
- Guidelines for the Acute Medical Management of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury in Infants, Children, and Adolescents.
