NSW ITIM is currently developing additional Adult Trauma Clinical Practice Guidelines. These include:

• Maxillo-Facial Trauma
  
• Anterior Abdominal Stab Wounds
• Compartment Syndrome in the Limbs
• Thromboembolism Prophylaxis in Trauma

These are due to published in 2009.

NSW ITIM is also reviewing the current Closed Head Injury guideline following the release in January 2008 of a NSW Health policy on the administration of analgesia and the use of anti-convulsant therapy in the treatment of mild closed head injury.
